heroines I love to hate are the Disney Villains...the witch in Snow White, the jilted fairy in Sleeping Beauty, Ursula in the Little Mermaid, the stepmom and sisters in Cinderella...

These villains give ALL women a bad name...especially stepmoms...

I think that Scarlet O'Hara has to be the ultimate heroine you love to hate. She's kind of bratty, and definitely self-centered, but ultimately strong, and you really do want her to win out in the end.

I agree! Scarlett is one of the most memorable love-to-hate heroines around. What makes her so memorable? Wondering just what she'll do next!

Hi Terah, Scarlett is good. I can't think of any offhand from a book. I can think of a few from some shows I watch though. On General Hospital the only soap I watch since I was a teenager has had a lot but right now, Carly is perfect for a love to hate heroine.

You know, I kind of have to go with Artie from the Dark Hunter series. She is so diabolical and I continue to reading waiting for the time she finally goes down!
