The Villain that we love to hate for me was SNAPE...how JK created such a dispicable character...who we all wanted to love and mother...was beyond me...but that's it...we women love the bad boys and know we can make them GOOD!!!

I think we all love a rogue. The type of guy you are tempted to try and redeem. What makes a villian unredeemable is one who is abusive to women and/or children. Those are the type of villians you want to end up dead so they can't hurt anyone anymore.

I agree with Eva about bad boys, and also Zulmara. Snape is a great character--as is Will Scarlet in the Robin Hood movie with Kevin Costner.
