This is right up my alley! Since I have been very, very young; statues and the like frighten me. They still do. There are times that I believe that I lived in at time where something happened to me concerning a statue or one coming to life! Cindi

Another really interesting one. I say we get Sylvia in here for some advise? ROFL. This might be one of those times when ignorance really is bliss.

I've had this dream, the same dream that I've dreamt many times. In it, I'm an artist chiseling out and painting hyroglyphics in Egyptian temples, tombs, etc. I don't know if it really means anything but there you go.

Wow, that's really interesting. Sylvia Brown would like this one.

A male sailor. That's a good one. You're the first to change gender in your other life.

I would probably have been a Southern belle on a plantation or a lighthouse keeper.

I like the Native American idea or going out west in the 1800's

I once dreamed I was a Native American in the early or middle 20th century. That was one of only two dreams I ever recall dreaming about myself in any other time period but this one.

The archaeologist in me wants to be realistic... thin, most likely malnourished by our standards, worn and not so great teeth because of all the grit in the food and high-carb diet of agricultural societies, gray hair early in life from stress and malnutrition, and wrinkles when I hit 20. Life was hard back then.

In a fantasy world, I'd have been thin, fit, tanned, with very long hair (very curly or very straight but in a braid), wearing leather, quiver strapped on my back, bow thrown over my shoulder, riding a white Arabian-type mount covered in small black spots (black muzzle, legs, mane and tail). But I wouldn't want to be too particular! So, I'll stick with the realistic picture I first sketched out. Skhye

Wow! Good question. Hmmm, have to think on it. I would have loved to have been a vampire living in London, if that were possible. A real world answer would be an Egyptian queen such as Cleopatra. I dressed up as her several years in a row for Halloween. I could also see myself as European royalty or upper class wearing all those gorgeous gowns, which is probably more fun than it looks.

It was interesting to see the other answers as well.

Ohhh, a vampire in London. An Egyptian queen isn't a bad second choice, either.

I was probably a medieval monk. Not very glamorous, I know, but I study Greek and Roman history for a living and medieval copyists preserved a great many of the texts we now have from that period. I think maybe I was one of them back then, so when I frustrated that a particular text isn't extant, or that it was expurgated, it was probably my own fault.
