A woman who can hear other people's thoughts. Whoa! Would we want our significant other to know our every thought? Where might that go well, and where might it go awry?

Hi Tarah, I definitely would not want my significant other to be able to read my thoughts. I can only think of two places were that would be beneficial in bed and if you were trouble and had to share your thoughts to get help. The book reminds me of the Sookie Stackhouse series. She can read peoples thoughts but not Vampires so of course she hooks up with one. I love Sookie and her adventures. I would probably enjoy this book too. Reply to this

It probably wouldn't be a good thing if a significant other could hear your every thought. Some thoughts are just too private. I think it would be cool to think about a person and half your loved know that you're thinking of them. Reply to this

I don't think I'd like to hear my partner's---or anyone else's---thoughts. For one thing, I imagine that people think about a lot of silly or mundane and extremely boring things on a daily basis, like "did I leave the oven on" and the lyrics to whatever song is currently stuck in their head. For another, no matter how much you love someone, you're bound to get annoyed by or angry at them from time to time, and I'd hate to hear what someone thinks under those circumstances. Reply to this
