FOR HIS EYES ONLY Daphne Du Maurier winner

FOR HIS EYES ONLY, by Evan Trevane and I, was awarded third place in the Daphne Du Maurier unpublished Single Title Romantic Suspense category.

Evan and I are pretty proud as this is the first novel we completed together.  This novel is with our agent, and we're waiting to see where she wants to go with it from here.

Here's a bit about the story.

    FOR HIS EYES ONLY

In the deep black of top secret undercover work, recon agent Jesse Evans collects information. Her intel means the difference between life and death to the men who depend on her.

Her most recent mission in the Columbian jungle goes bad when cocaine mercenaries ambush her and her informant. They’ve been set up.

She is named as the mole who leaked the information that got the team killed. Within an hour, Jesse Evans is one of the most wanted women in the world.

Jesse can’t trust anyone, least of all Cole Murphy. He has been sent to track her down and kill her.

If she could forget Cole’s eighteen days of torture at the hands of the mercenaries she was supposed to protect him from, she might be able to forget the man. Falling in love with Cole Murphy is a mistake she can correct. Trusting him is a mistake she can’t afford.
