Well, as it occurred, I was thrilled to have something to watch on TV! The lawyer, cop, and doctor shows did nothing for me...

Well, I think it's been coming for years so I for one am really glad it's here. I think it's because we're looking for enlightenment because times are so bad - the world is in chaos and that pushes us to move forward on a more spiritual jouney and to discover the truth behind things that are hard to explain. Plus- it's really cool.

    Smiles,

I enjoy watching some of the programs such as Paranormal States but others I find silly.

I love the paranormal shows. I watch John Edwards cross country, I even like watching Ghost Whisperer. I never miss anything that has Sarah Browne on it, and one of my favorites series of books was by the late Doris Stokes, if you haven't read her and you like reading about psychics you should check these books out! My husband and I love to spook ourselves by watching Ghost Hunter and last weeks episode was about Draculas castle! Very cool stuff!! So, I am glad we have more paranormal shows, it peaks my interest!

Do you all think that anyone can have some kind of abilities? I do, in some form or another. There are times when you think something and then it happens and then you're trying to rememeber why you know about it.

Same thing with dreams, when you have one and remember it vividly and then try to figure out what it meant and sometimes I believe there are meanings. I had on of those last night and when I described it to my friend, she told me what she had read about and told me what she thoguht and it made sense.

Oh yes, we all have abilities, some just use them, some ignore them, some are more talented and some less - but we all have it. It's just a matter of tapping in. Dreams are a great source of information because that's when you're not fighting your abiltiies - when you're awake the conscious mind trys to rationalize it all away.

As for dreams, what kind of "things" indicate "what" in dreams? And I'm not going all Freudian here. I actually consider Freudian theory passe. Is there a significant difference in a nightmare and a night terror to psychics? Do you think your astral projecting in a flying dream? Etc. Have a great Saturday.

          Hi Skhye,

Yes, it looks like Ike is going to miss us. We're actually out of the cone now so that's a huge relief. Now we're just keeping an eye on Josephine. It's a very active season this year!

LOL I understand. The best thing I could advise for this is to tell you to get a good dream dictionary. There are several out there on the market that will do the trick to tell you what different "things" mean in a dream. The list in endless but I'll give you an example - if you dream of death it means a birth, if you dream of a wasp it means you're angry, a bee means productivity and a spider means creating something beautiful that didn't exist before. If you dream that you're fishing then that means you're looking for insight into a problem, if you dream that you're cutting your hair then that means you're trying to create order in your life. Haircuts are also indicators of success.

To me there isn't a difference in a nightmare and a night terror. I don't have night terrors and rarely have nightmares but I would say that I think some people are more prone to them than others. I can't speak for others and since I don't have night terrors I really can't answer that more specifically.

No, I don't think I'm astral projecting when I have a flying dream. Astral projection is totally different. A flying dreams means that you'll will be rising above things in your life to achieve great success. For me, and again I can only speak from my own experience, flying feels like flying and it feels like it's happening in a dream. Astral projection is in a different realm (astral realm) and to me it feels silvery and warm and fuzzy and while I can feel my astral self, I am more aware of watching where I'm going and experiencing what I'm doing. It's more "real" feeling to me than a dream. That probably doesn't make sense but I hope it does.

I hope you have a great Saturday too.

At first I took it as a bad dream, until my friend told me how she understood it and it made sense. It was very personal and this is a time when my emotions are more sensitive.

So funny that you would be talking about dreams- my grandfather passed away 5 yrs ago. I was EXTREMELY close to him and so it was a huge loss to me. Anyway, last night I dreamed about him- its been a long time since he visited me in my dreams. The funny thing about it was in the dream he was fine, cooking me and my parents dinner and my grandmother was the one that was ill. Well, not ill but quite senile. She is getting very forgetful, but not to the extent that she was in this dream. My grandmother is very house proud, and in this dream she took a black magic marker and drew a black bull on her sofa. This is a woman who cringes if you sit on her sofa! I was wondering if anyone has any idea if this is a message and if so, what it could possibly mean? Sorry to ramble! :O) Glad to hear the storm missed you Melissa, I am bracing for what is coming to us in the next few hours!

Thanks Andrea! I hope you guys don't get it too bad.

When I read this my first impression was two different messages - one was to let you know that your grandfather is fine and the other was to let you know that worrying about material things isn't something you need to do because it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. It's just stuff.

Thanks again, Melissa! We're just getting rain and some wind. Nothing like we thought we would get, so its been OK.

That makes allot of sense. Though my grandmother used to be materialistic she has changed allot since my grandfather died. So thats what he's telling me. Not to sweat the small stuff, maybe he felt the need becuase I was upset yesterday about our $1000.00 oil bill, and worrying about how we were going to swing it!

Thanks again, this has been a wonderfully enlightening experiance!

I'm not much of a TV or movie watcher at all, but when I heard about Moonlight out, I loved it. I can't tell you how disappointed I am that they cancelled it. I heard another vampire show will be on a cable or HBO or something, but don't know if its one like Moonlight or crime fighting of supernaturals, like that, or horror vampire. I don't watch those. I should check into these discussed!
