A Knight of Passion

5/5 Stars

“The story and the sex is raw, real, and absolutely sensational!”

Favorite Character

Riana Ellis is the star of the show and also my favorite character. This woman is stubborn to the core, and even though Riana serves the Duchess in body and even in the Duchess’ plans for murder, Riana’s mind is all her own, a tribute to her overall strength. Riana is also a very independent woman. On a single minded mission to help her family, she doesn’t think twice about bedding a prison guard so soon after bedding a Knight. I laugh at Riana, completely impressed in the way she allows no man or woman, regardless of rank to judge her. Riana is my kind of heroine.

Favorite Scene

The Knight has completely falled for Riana, but he knows that it will take some doing for her to realize that he truly wants to be with her. So, he comes up with a plan that will help Riana and her family escape the Duke and Duchess of Arundel. Riana agrees after putting up quite the fight, and after they are married, they must consummate their marriage quickly before they get caught by the fast approaching guards. A quote from that scene is below.

Quotable Quote

”Sir Bryant’s head snapped towards the door as it burst open. Four men-at-arms stood in the doorway. Riana froze, Sir Bryant’s cock still in her mouth, and the lead warrior’s gaze riveted onto her.”

“We are here to take Lady Ellis back to the duke.” The man in the lead stepped forward.

Sir Bryant widened his stance. “Touch my wife, and die.”

Final Thoughts

It is no secret that I love Tarah Scott’s work, but I must say that A Knight of Passion is my favorite title. Set against the Scottish Highlands in 1338, Tarah nailed the time period perfectly. I felt like I was in Scottland experiencing the thrill of plots, deceit, and lies within the court of the Duke and Duchess of Arundel. Riana, although a whore, is such a well-rounded character. After reading this novel, I know Riana’s strengths, her weaknesses, and the lengths she will go to in order to save herself and those she loves. I admire her fire, her passion. The sex was incredible in this novel. Tarah spares no detail when describing the lovemaking but always keeps it classy. Raw and real, but never offensive. A Knight of Passion has become a favorite that will stay in my TBRR (To Be Re-Read) stack!
