Lady Riana Ellis and her sister, Suisan, are given to the care of the Duke and Duchess of Arundel. Riana learns the hard way that in order to keep her sister alive and protected, she must give up her body to be used as needed. Riana becomes a prostitute for the Duchess, sleeping with men in order to gain their cooperation or following for the Duchess’ interests.

Riana is a strong determined woman. She will do anything to protect her sister and allow her the virginal life that has been denied Riana. But Riana isn’t just beautiful. She is smart and has her own plans for her sister’s escape with the help of Glen, a sort of substitute father. Things just don’t work out for Riana like she plans and instead of sleeping with Sir Neas Dunbar, she has mind-blowing sex with Sir Bryant Cullen, Sir Dunbar’s protégé.

Sir Bryant Cullen is a very tolerant man. He realizes what the Duchess was up to and spies to learn the truth about Briana and her role in the goings on at Arundel castle. While he is obvious very moved by his and Riana’s passion, I believe it is the knowledge of her loyalty for her sister that prove to Bryant that she is the woman for him. Bryant puts up with a lot of antics from Riana as she tries constantly to secure the safety of the people she loves, including Bryant. It appears that Riana will even risk her own life and happiness for Bryant after knowing him such a short amount of time.

A Knight of Passion is a steamy read. The sex scenes are scorching and showcase a titillating variety of positions. Bryant and Riana’s passion is hot, hot, hot! They are definitely a couple who aren’t afraid to show how turned on they are by each other! While the sex is amazing, the storyline is what kept me glued to my pages! It seemed as if there were all these complications and disasters that affected Bryant and Riana. I really wanted to see them happy but it took a long time to bring about a happy ending.
