His ass—good Lord, she wasn’t going to be able to do this.

He hadn’t even looked in her direction and already she was melting like a sixteen-year-old, and her panties were wet with more than just the sweat the Arizona sun could generate, even in spring.

A Knight of Passion reviewed at Just Erotic Romance Reviews

Lady Riana Ellis will do anything to save her sister from a fate similar to hers. Especially if it means bargaining with the devious Duke and Duchess of Arundel, whom they were given as wards. Even if it means seducing a knight on the behest of the deviant Duchess. Will Riana come out unscathed or will it be a night like no other?

I struggled a little with this story at first as it treads a fine line between erotica and erotic romance in the first half of the book. Another reason was that this story is gripping, fast paced and well written with some smoldering scenes between the two lead characters and I didn’t want to put it down. Lady Riana and Sir Bryant Cullen do redeem themselves with a strong lustful attraction combined with passion that leads them down the road to love. The sex is very earthy. Sir Bryant is very primitive in his reaction to Riana and it shows through their many steamy interactions. Ms. Scott manages to fit a lot of action in her plot. The characters are interesting and honest in their reactions, the historical setting feels real and the author’s knowledge of this period in history is seamlessly woven into the plot. Ms. Scott portrayed the more unsavory aspects of life during the medieval ages to a realistic degree and made this story very enjoyable without glossing over any of the more gruesome aspects, or the way an unprotected woman may be treated. These strong emotions made A Knight of Passion entertaining, gritty as well as very sexy. It’s a strong tale with people who have flaws but find love and is a story I will definitely be reading again.

Excerpt--

“He’ll think we’re having a quickie.”

Margot stilled when McNeil traced a finger along her cheek. “Is that all it would be, Margot?”

She tilted her head upward and met his gaze. He stared, eyes dark with desire and something more that caused her stomach to flip.

“I—” she began but his mouth covered hers before she could finish the sentence.

She grasped his shoulders and pulled him deeper into the kiss. He didn’t hesitate, his body coming down on hers. His hungry demands sent a shiver through her.

“We haven’t much time,” he said against her lips. He trailed kisses along her cheek to her ear. “I don’t want Ms. Bowers getting suspicious.”

Margot answered by slipping a hand between them. She tugged open the button on his jeans and reached past his underwear. His hard length filled her palm. He shuddered and thrust into her fingers. Margot squeezed. He groaned and reached for the button on her jeans. He kissed her again, and swept his tongue inside her mouth with an urgency that sent a shockwave between her legs. The button loosened and the downward slide of the zipper sent gooseflesh up her arms in anticipation of his fingers touching, teasing then, finally, plunging inside her.

He broke the kiss closed his mouth over a nipple, sucking through shirt and bra. Pleasurable friction tightened the nipple, puckering its twin along with it to marble hardness. Margot moaned. The zipper halted and his fingers slipped beneath the purple boy shorts and moved feather light over her curls.

“Sweet Christ,” she whispered.

“Indeed,” he agreed.
